when i bought a pack the other day, a little card was attached. here’s what it said:
Energy to run our world can come from many different sources – and utilizing renewable resources as much a possible is important for our planet’s future. In Santa Fe, 100% of the electricity that we purchase comes from wind generators. Even though it costs us more, we believe it’s worth it. It’s not just better; it’s the right thing to do.
yeah, yeah, smoking’s bad for you. blah, blah, blah, blah. still, if i’m gonna smoke, at least the cigarettes i buy are all natural (organic?) and produced by an environmentally responsible company. see for yourself. hell, even the little card was made form recycled paper and printed using soy inks!
See, you can be green and smoke at the same time – oh wait, that sounds wrong . . . .
By the same token, if I drink a beer that is produced in a green way, doens’t that mean I must drink more of it to support the industry??
